Starting November 1st,\u00a0I will be growing a moustache in support of mens health across Canada. My goal is to raise $500 to be donated towards men&#8217;s cancer and mental health research.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Movember Foundation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our fathers, partners, brothers and friends face a health crisis that isn\u2019t being talked about. Men are dying too young. We can\u2019t afford to stay silent.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s why we\u2019re taking action.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re the only charity tackling men\u2019s health on a global scale, year round. We\u2019re addressing some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention.We know what works for men, and how to find and fund the most innovative research to have both a global and local impact. We&#8217;re independent of government funding, so we can challenge the status quo and invest quicker in what works. In 13 years we\u2019ve funded more than 1,200 men\u2019s health projects around the world.<\/p>\n<p>The Movember Foundation is the only global charity focused solely on men&#8217;s health, so this Movember I&#8217;m getting on board. I&#8217;m raising funds to tackle some of the biggest health issues faced by men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and poor mental health.
